Hi! I’m Sandhya, a registered nurse from Edmonton, Alberta. My passion lies in making healthcare accessible and helping people heal with dignity in the place they feel most comfortable—their own homes. This belief is at the heart of Bloom Healthcare Solutions, a homecare service in Edmonton dedicated to providing compassionate, personalized care. At Bloom, we’re here to support, guide, and empower individuals to take charge of their health because no one knows you better than you.

My journey into homecare began with my grandmother’s story. Watching her face challenges during her later years was a turning point for me. I saw firsthand how difficult it was for her to navigate the healthcare system and maintain her independence. What she truly needed was care that honored her dignity, allowed her to stay at home, and kept her connected to the people and things she loved. Her experience inspired me to create a service that bridges these gaps and provides seniors and others in need with the support to thrive at home.

Throughout my nursing career—from Medical-Surgical Nursing and Rural Public Health to the ICU—I’ve worked with people of all ages, from newborns to seniors. These roles showed me how overwhelming and impersonal healthcare can feel, especially in unfamiliar settings. I learned that healing isn’t just about medical care; it’s about comfort, connection, and a sense of control over your health journey. This understanding drives everything we do at Bloom Healthcare Solutions. Today, we are a thriving company that combines expertise with passion to make meaningful connections, hear and share stories, and deliver the care people truly deserve.
