Financing Home Care: Client-Directed Invoicing – How Does It Work?

Understanding how home care is financed can be confusing. At Bloom Healthcare Solutions, we simplify the process with client-directed invoicing, giving you more control over your home care services.

What is Client-Directed Invoicing?

Client-directed invoicing allows you to select and pay for home care services directly while accessing financial support through programs like Alberta Health Services (AHS). It offers flexibility and ease in managing your care costs.

How Does It Work?

  1. Eligibility: To qualify, you must reside in Alberta and have a valid Alberta Health Care card. AHS case managers assess your needs and determine the approved hours of care.
  2. Bloom Healthcare Solutions Handles Billing: Once approved, we direct bill AHS for the approved hours of care. If you need additional hours beyond the approved amount, you’ll be responsible for those costs.
  3. No Visit Minimums: Unlike some home care programs, AHS client-directed invoicing doesn’t have strict visit minimums, giving you flexibility to access care as needed.
  4. Transparency and Control: You have the ability to select your preferred home care provider, ensuring you receive care from trusted professionals like Bloom Healthcare Solutions.

By offering client-directed invoicing, we aim to make home care accessible and tailored to your specific needs without unnecessary restrictions.
